OUR STORY

Born in West Africa and shaped by Antwerp.

I grew up in West Africa and later came to Antwerp, Belgium, where I built a new life. Antwerp brought people from different cultures into my world, and through friendships, encounters and shared tables, I became familiar with French-Belgian, Asian and Mediterranean food cultures.
LOA brings those worlds together. Our dishes are my own interpretations of flavours and ingredients rooted in these different food traditions, always with that unmistakable LOA touch.
From 2015 to 2024, LOA Street Food had its home in the historic heart of Antwerp. Over those nine years, we built a strong community around food, flavours you could only find at LOA, and above all, the warm atmosphere that made people feel at home.
Those nine years also taught us a lot. About food, about people, and about what we want LOA to become.
Our ambition has never disappeared. We want to bring the LOA experience back with a permanent home in Antwerp and, one day, take it beyond the city — to other cities in Belgium and perhaps even across the border.
Until then, we’re keeping LOA alive in a smaller and more personal way: limited quantities, selected days, the dishes you remember and new creations along the way.
